On Saturday, 23 November 2024, Emilian, Naemi, Emilia and Philipp, who are all members of the Dhammika Karate-Do competition team, travelled to Pliezhausen to take part in the 13th Koshinkan Cup. Emilian took first place in the Kata Pupils B category, impressing the judges with his cleanly executed katas. Naemi followed suit in the Kata Pupils A category. She also earned first place with her powerful performance.
In the afternoon, it was the turn of the more experienced karateka: Emilia and Philipp. Emilia was the first to compete. She demonstrated her skills in the juniors’ kata category against strong competitors. Her performances impressed across the board, and she secured a strong first place. Later in the day, it was time for our kumite athlete, Philipp, to take to the tatami. He competed in the +80 kg kumite performance class. With good tactics and precise techniques, he fought his way to first place.
