Shito-Ryu Summer Camp

Every year in August, we hold the Shito-ryu Summer Camp at the Freizeitcenter Oberrhein, a leisure centre in Rheinmünster. We warmly invite everyone to take part in our family-friendly summer camp.

Family holiday

A week-long camping holiday in a great atmosphere for the whole family at the campsite in Oberrhein, Rheinmünster.

Community

Experience community as a different kind of vacation and exchange with like-minded people in a pleasant atmosphere.

Martial arts

Practise traditional Chinese qigong, Okinawan kobudo and (aqua) karate, as well as self-defence with like-minded people.

Meditation

Practise meditation to demonstrably reduce stress, gain clarity and promote emotional well-being.

Swimming

Look forward to fun in the water – swimming, relaxing on the beach, plus stand-up paddleboarding, sailing and canoeing.

Barbecuing

Look forward to barbecuing and lunch together – both combine good food with conviviality, fresh air and relaxed get-togethers.

Evening programmes

There are various entertaining evening programmes, such as movie and game nights, as well as talent shows for all ages.

Leisure activities

The FCO offers numerous opportunities – relax with tennis, windsurfing, table tennis, mini golf and much more.

International Dhammika Cup

Karate

Kata and kumite competitions are open to all karate styles in the age groups mini-kids, children, mini-cadets, cadets, juniors, U21, seniors, masters; kumite is divided into the respective weight classes.

Kobudo

Among other tournaments, the International Dhammika Cup is one of the few tournaments that include a kobudo discipline (bo, tonfa, sai, etc.) which is open to all kobudo styles.
