Roba Klostercup 2025 – Dhammika Karateka with successes

On 18 October 2025, many karateka gathered at the Schefenacker Sports Hall in Maulbronn to compete in various disciplines at the traditional Roba Klostercup. Organised by Goju-Ryu since 2006, this year’s beginners’ tournament attracted an impressive 240 participants.

Tournament and significance

Since its inception in 2006, the Roba-Klostercup has offered beginners in competitive karate a friendly yet performance-oriented platform. Thanks to its pleasant setting and professional organisation, the tournament has become an important fixture in the regional karate club scene and for promoting young talent.

Dhammika karatekas well represented

Eleven participants from various Dhammika Karate-Do dojos also took part in the competition. They demonstrated technically clean katas and impressive kumite performances, displaying fair play throughout. Their strong presence and consistent training ensured outstanding results and many highlights on this intense day of competition. Ultimately, the Dhammika Karate athletes won five gold, three silver and three bronze medals.
