We cordially invite you to this year’s Kids Cup 2026, which will take place on 22 March 2026 at the Langhans Sports Hall in Beilstein. Through this event, our karate organization is demonstrating its commitment to the sustainable development of young talent and the strengthening of our community.
Junior tournament in a protected environment
The Kids Cup is an internal club tournament exclusively for members of clubs affiliated with Japan Karate-Do Dhammika-Ha Shitoryukai.
The event aims to provide our youngest karateka and those new to competition with a positive first experience of tournament participation. In a safe and friendly environment, the children can:
- get a taste of competition
- learn the procedures and rules
- build self-confidence
- surpass themselves
- experience team spirit and community
The focus is deliberately on development, motivation and enjoyment, rather than pressure to perform or medal tables.
Disciplines and competitions:
The following disciplines will be contested:
- Kata
- Kumite
- Both individual and team competitions
are planned for the Kids Cup 2026.
The focus is on fairness, respect, and shared experiences. We want to give our young athletes the opportunity to showcase their skills, gain new experiences, and embody the values of our Karate-Do.
