Kyu belt exams in Beilstein – All important information
On Sunday, 27 July 2025 we will meet in Beilstein to hold the next round of our Kyu belt examinations. To make sure you are well prepared, you will find all the important details summarised here.

Date & Venue:
- Date: Sunday, 27 July 2025
- Admission: From 8:45 am (check-in and warm-up)
- Start of group 1: 9:00 am to approx. 10:30 am
- Start of group 2: 10:30 am
- Venue: Langhans Sports Hall Beilstein, Big Hall, Albert-Einstein-Straße 20, 71717 Beilstein
Please be in the sports hall at least 15 minutes before the start of your kyu belt exam time to confirm your attendance, clarify any final questions and prepare yourself.
Exam procedure at a glance
- Warm-up & welcome
- Together warm-up, short briefing by the examiners
- Technique round Basic techniques, combinations and partner exercises
- Kata Demonstration of the kata depending on your kyu grade
- Kumite (depending on kyu belt level) Light contact exercises or application techniques
- Feedback & awarding of certificate
Examination groups
- Group 1: White, white-yellow and yellow belts (up to 8th kyu)
- Group 2: Orange, green, blue and brown belts (7th kyu to 1st kyu)
The groups are divided into two groups to ensure a smooth process and to do justice to the large number of candidates.
Directions & parking facilities
- Car parking is available directly at the Langhans sports hall.
- Coming from Kirchheim:
via 1100 → Neckarwestheim → towards Pfahlhof → take the L1100 in Auenstein → towards the centre of Beilstein → Sporthalle. - Coming from Besigheim:
via L1115 and L1100 → Ottmarsheim → towards Ilsfeld → take the L1100 in Auenstein → towards the centre of Beilstein → sports hall.
Please note: there is a fixed speed camera in the centre of Ilsfeld!
