4x gold, 5x silver – Dhammika competition team successful at the Roba Cup in Maulbronn

On 19th October 2024, the karate club Maulbronn e.V. in the Enzkreis district hosted the annual ROBA-Klostercup.

The Dhammika Karate-Do competition team took part with a total of eight karateka. Emilian W. and Luke d. S. competed in the U12 Kata category. Both won their preliminary round fights confidently, so that two participants made it to the final. This time Emilian convinced the judges and won first place. Naemi competed in the U14 girls’ category. She performed various katas in three rounds and finished in second place.
Leon d. S. and Sanidu H. competed against each other in the U16 Kata category. Both impressed in the group round and made sure of the second Dhammika internal final on this day. In the end, Sanidu won gold and Leon silver. Chandra H. and Nils K. competed against each other in the competitive kata class. Both won their preliminary round fights with ease and made it to the final. In the end, Chandra came out on top and won gold, while Nils was pleased to take silver.
Chandra H. also competed in the master class and won against all opponents, which brought him the first place. In Kumite, Philipp competed in the competitive class, showing a strong performance and earning the silver medal.
