22nd International Dhammika Cup – a complete success

The International Dhammika Cup, a high-class karate tournament in the region of Heilbronn, took place on November 18, 2023 in Beilstein. Over 200 karateka took part in the tournament and demonstrated their skills in the disciplines of kata, kumite and kobudo, split into different age and weight categories. While the participants from Great Britain, Portugal, Israel and Palestine were sadly missed for organizational reasons and due to the current situation in the Middle East, some members of the state squads once again found their way to Beilstein.

The event began on Saturday morning with the kata categories of the master class, followed by kids, cadets, juniors and above. After the award ceremony, the kumite categories followed. The fights were intense and the audience was able to watch exciting fights. The athletes showed great techniques and impressed with their skill, strength and endurance.

The organisers of the International Dhammika Cup were satisfied with how the event went and would like to thank all participants, helpers and sponsors for their great support. We are already looking forward to next year, when the International Dhammika Cup will once again be held in Beilstein.
